Haitian Partners
Fondation Tous Ensemble works to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and the general community through programs that help to achieve the maximum possible level of functionality, independence and autonomy.
Haiti Air Ambulance (HAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing emergency helicopter services to the people of Haiti. HAA flies critically ill or injured patients to emergency medical care providers based solely on need.
Overture Outreach International (OOI) empowers families in Haiti living in extreme poverty through sustainable social, community and economic development.
100 for Haiti creates and supports long-term social development and human rights programs related to water safety, roof construction, feeding hungry children, and violence prevention in rural Haiti.
Institut du Bien Être Social et de Recherches (IBESR) (Haitian Social Services) is the Haitian government institution responsible for child protection in Haiti. IBESR works to prevent abuse and neglect against children, care for children without parental support, track and supervise Haitian orphanages, and advocate for better policies on children’s rights in Haiti. LFBS and IBESR work together closely in all aspects of child protection. LEARN MORE
Groupe de Travail pour la Protection des Enfants du Sud (GTPE-Sud) meets every month as a mechanism for coordinating child protection interventions involving all organizations working in child protection in the Southern Department of Haiti. LFBS is a very active member of GTPE-Sud and has facilitated community training campaigns through this network.
Brigade de la Protection des Mineurs (BPM) is an entity of the Haitian police that works in the timely care and referencing of lost children, runaway children, children in street situations, abandoned children, vulnerable children, or victims who are minors, and minors in conflict with the law. BPM places many children in LFBS safehouses and combines resources with LFBS to manage cases.
Centre de Formation et de Recherches en Appui Psychosocial (CFRAPS) specializes in psycho-social support of children, youth and women in difficulties. CFRAPS is a child protection organization that works to build parental and community capacities in order to facilitate the familial and social reintegration of separated children and youth. CFRAPS supports LFBS by providing counseling to children and youth in need of psycho-social support. LEARN MORE
Ministere a la Condition Feminine et aux Droits des Femmes (MCFDF) is an entity of the Haitian government which works in advocacy for women rights and in capacity building of Haitian women. MCFDF refers LFBS cases of sexual assault victims or other girls and women in need, primarily for medical care.
Terre des Hommes (TDH) is an international organization which works in child protection by conducting direct interventions and by supporting the Haitian government through IBESR in its child protection mission. TDH and LFBS collaborate in multiple child protection initiatives, particularly those concerning children in conflict with the law. LEARN MORE
Haiti Mama is based in Port au Prince, and focuses on community-based alternatives to orphanages through family services, education, employment and disability care. Working in two different regions in Haiti, our two grassroots organizations often assist each other with training, share ideas and advocate for each other like-minded goals. LEARN MORE

Jasmine Foundation is a semi-private foundation with a focus on education and women and children. They are a key partner of LFBS, making continued progress and impacts possible.
LUMOS is a foundation founded by author JK Rowling to help millions of children in institutions worldwide regain their right to a family. Aligned with our focus and programs, they provided grant support in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. LFBS Child and Youth Mentor, Eluxon, was chosen to speak on stage alongside J. K. Rowling at LUMOS’ One Young World global forum for young leaders in the United Kingdom. Eluxon joined LUMOS call to action to end orphanage tourism and volunteering, and highlighted that orphanages are a harmful and outdated form of care for children, drawing on his own experiences of spending 12 years of his childhood in an illegal orphanage. Haven Partnership is an Irish non-government organization (NGO) committed to empowering the people of Haiti to build strong and sustainable livelihoods. LFBS and Haven collaborate on a Small Business Start-up Program and in agriculture programming. In 2018 they recognized LFBS exceptional work with an international award. LEARN MORE
Lakay Poze, was guesthouse in Port au Prince, and part of Empower Haiti Together whose mandate is to partner with and empower Haitian communities. Before closing in June 2021, Lakay Poze was a proud partner of LFBS, hosting medical patients and LFBS staff free of charge to support their work and allow them to help more people each month.
